oUR pROGRAM
Our program is for young men aged 14 and up (old guys are welcome too) who want to get in the best shape of their life and be part of a team that will help them towards personal optimization. You don't need to be in good shape to come out and train; we'll take care of that. You don't need to be aspiring to join the military; this is not a "military" program. It's just informed by the time-tested methodologies that the military uses to forge unstoppable teams and develop capable leaders and athletes. You will be doing a lot of the exercises and workout techniques utilized by Special Operations units, and you will be regularly challenged to push your (perceived) limits and think outside the box. You just need to show up ready to give your best and help out the team. As John McGuire used to say, "If you come out here and you only do 2 pushups, but you do them right and that's as many as you can do, you get an A". You build from where you are, and you'll find the energy and encouragement that comes from the team environment will have you making progress faster than you ever imagined.
Phase 1: Basic Fitness Indoc
Like the Indoc progams in the military, the Basic Fitness Indoc is the first part of the program, designed to prepare you for the Team Member Program. However, you're welcome to utilize it to just try the program out, get a feel for how we do things, and to reset your own baselines for fitness and a healthier lifestyle.
During Indoc you will learn how we work as a team to get in shape and be introduced to the basics of military-style fitness training - different exercises, regimen styles, etc. You'll learn what goes into training outdoors with a group in this way - organization, communication, accountability, and leadership will definitely come into play!
After the Indoc graduation you will receive a certificate and a Ranger Team Training t-shirt, and you will be eligible for full membership. At this point you may decide to continue month-to-month at the same rate or you may select from the discounted options: family discount, student discount, 6 month, and 1 year memberships.

Phase 2: Team Membership
The Team Membership Program is available to anyone who has completed the Basic Fitness Indoc. The core training is the daily PT, an unconventional workout program that is rigorous, safe, and fun, but will consistently push you to better and better performance. The workouts are held outside at various locations, which will be put out every week in the team room page, so you can expect all kinds of weather and all kinds of challenges - basically just expect the unexpected. You may find yourself on any given day running trails through the woods, climbing ropes, running through stream beds, bearcrawling across a field, doing lunges in the snow, or pressing logs by the river in the early evening light.
Team PT sessions are 4:45 - 5:45 PM, Monday-Friday.

There will be team challenge missions throughout the weekly PT sessions, as well as special team training and challenge events one Saturday a month - this might be putting together and executing a field-expedient evacuation plan for an injured person, a ruck hike in the National Forest, a land navigation course, practicing low visibility fire making in a survival environment, and more. The details for these upcoming team events will be put out monthly in the team room page as well.
